Admissions are open for january intake 2009 . The tution fee ranges from Rs 4,00,000 to maximum of Rs 8,00,000 approx whole program. Pre Visa assessment
Students of non-gazetted countries like India are required to apply for Pre-Visa assessment before enrolling in a course of study or paying the course fee. This process assesses the student's intention of undertaking full-time studies in Australia and fulfilling the Visa conditions.
These are some of the factors that are looked at in determining the genuineness of the student :
- The student's academic background and/or relevant work experience
- The student's level of English
- The relevance of the course to one's future employment
- Availability of any similar course in one's home country
- Whether the student has sufficient money to cover his expenses in Australia
- The student's immigration history and ties with Australia
Health requirement:
Students have to undergo a medical check-up to satisfy health requirements. They also need to have health insurance cover for the time they are in Australia. The Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) provides medical and hospital insurance for overseas students and their dependent. To arrange for the OSHC, students can pay the OSHC premium to the institution, which will then arrange to pay the health insurance cover on their behalf.
Visa Requirements:
- Valid passport
- Completed Form 157W
- Completed Supplementary Questionnaire
- A pre Visa approval letter issued by the Australian High Commission.
- Application Fee of Rs. 7900.00 in the form of a Draft payable to "Australian High Commission, New Delhi"
- Letter of Offer / provisional acceptance issued by the Australian Educational Institution (original and copy) for a full time course. The institution should be registered with the Australian Government to offer courses to overseas student.
- Educational testimonials (mark sheets and certificates)
- Evidence of payment of overseas student health insurance cover.
- A letter from sponsor (where appropriate) -original and copies- which should include :
- His / her relationship with you
- Letter from the sponsor's employer (If employed)
- Details of his / her other dependents
- Personal bank statement of the sponsor
- Any other documents pertaining to financial standing
- Evidence of your / your parents financial support (even where another sponsor is supporting the application) which should include:
- A statement from a Chartered Accountant (with his registration /membership number) of immovable and moveable assets owned by you / your parents.
- The student must satisfy the course requirements and maintain a valid enrolment
- Students must attend at least 80% of their classes.
- Students must achieve a satisfactory academic performance.
- The student cannot work for more than 20 hours per week while studying. They can however work full-time during vacations.
- The student must study with the education provider where he initially enrolled for the first year of the course or for the entire duration if the course duration is less than one year.
